June 2009:
Dr. Laurence Radin and Dr. Elijah Owens of the Neurological Group, PC in New London have been recognized by the Connecticut State Medical Society IPA and HealthNet Insurance for exemplary performance when compared to their peers throughout the State of Connecticut.

The Partners for Quality and Cost-Effective Care program is a voluntary program open to Connecticut State Medical Society-IPA physicians who are actively participating and rendering services in the HealthNet network. More than 3,000 physicians were eligible for the P4Q program and approximately one-third received recognition. Measures used are aimed at promoting long-term quality and cost-effective care for HealthNet members. The program issues scorecards for physicians which analyze their performance in the area of quality of efficiency.
